Many years ago I was visiting a friend. Their state had just authorized customized license plates. The local paper had a article describing a lawyer suing the state for cancelling his custom plate with this message:

PAN-OCHO in Texas was one that got that got done on a custom license plate, since recalled. Translated it is simply “Bread Eight.” If you speak Spanish you know what he was really trying to say. I will not translate due to Free Republic rules.
I was most amused again.
