I get the impression that some of Putin’s people here are finally starting to realize that America really does support Ukraine against this Russian invasion and that they don’t really feel comfortable being against America.

It took years but some Russian cheerleaders here are starting to sense that the 4.5 years of them listening to Russia’s cheerleaders online and in podcasts have misled them a lot about Russian power and and battlefield effectiveness and American support and its relationship with NATO, their sources basically misled them on America being bad and Russia good, as events unfold in the war and in world events like in the Middle East and Latin America and Africa in regard to Russian influence and they are forced to see which countries align with who, and that was after they tried so hard to be blind to the North Korean Army fighting alongside Russia in Europe.

Putin still has followers here but less passionate in the face of witnessing Trump’s decade of support for Ukraine.

I happened to run across this thread and your reply - a response seems worth making:

I think the Pro-Pooty / Russia (or at least apologists and such) are also getting a bit discouraged by the Ukies recent successes: Hitting and disabling hundreds(!) of Russian tankers and other assets in the Sea of Azov and Black Sea, and, now Ukraine has torched 5 of the 10 largest “Wildberries” (sort of like Russia’s Amazon) warehouses in Russia.

We don’t see posts about “pinprick” strikes on Russia any more... It may be death by 1000 cuts, but, death (at least of this “SMO”) is still death.
