A group of friends went to see The Rolling Stones perform a few years ago. It meant $200 tickets and a three-hour drive each way.
No thanks, says I.
But everyone who did go said it was well worth the time and money.
I spent $200 instead on some DVD sets of classic TV shows.
To each his own.
If Charlie Watts was still in the band , and they played smaller venues where one doesn’t need giant screens to see the band I * might * fork over $ 100 to see them just to say I saw them .
