The one thing that humans never need to worry about... Is water.

We are literally swimming in it... 71% of our planet’s surface is covered in water, most of it salty... But with desalination we could use all of it... That being said, only 3% of our water is actually drinkable... And we’ve been drinking that 3% for the last several million years... And it’s still stands at 3%... But just in case... There is always the ability to desalinate that other 68% that currently isn’t drinkable.

In the end... We are never going to run out of water. Period!

As long as the sun stays plugged in, evaporation will continue to act as nature's water purifier. This distillation process is the primary driver of the earth's water cycle, continually replenishing global freshwater supplies.

Also, H2O as a molecule is neither created nor destroyed in the standard water cycle. It simply changes physical states (liquid, gas, and solid). The earth has the same amount of water today as it did millions of years ago.

Water is not used, just recycled.

But how much of that water is drinkable? You can’t drink seawater, hence, the only water we can drink is what’s in underground aquifers. With the rate those aquifers are being depleted and poisoned, there soon won’t be much drinkable water left after data centers drain/destroy them.
