No excuse why the body should remain in the store for some four hours. I was an EMT for more than 20 years and in a CPR case we would have transported the patient to the hospital where they would officially be declared deceased.

The story seems so unbelievable.Someone collapses in a grocery store and the reaction is to try to cover up the body? Nobody called 911? Suppose someone collapsed, but they are still alive. If first responders have been called, they may have been able to save their life.
Instead, a decision is made just to let someone lie there. This is unbelievable to me.
