If one of us killed a police dog, it is equal to killing a police officer. Why doesn’t the guy in the magic blue suit get the death penalty? You or I would.

While I agree LEO’s should be held to the same standard as anyone else, it is wrong to punish a human for the death of a K9. It’s an animal not a person.

When they enter your property illegally and kill your dog, it's just property loss. And it's your fault anyway ... because they investigated themselves and found no wrongdoing.

Let’s not be hasty- as long as the officer got home safe that night, that’s all that matters. It’s a hard enough to get through the day without remembering some mutt in a car.
