I have been watching the hearing this week.
The main strategy of the defense is to keep all evidence from being admitted.
We are now in the midst of day 4 and I would estimate that 80% of the hearing has dealt with the defense team arguing that a certain piece of evidence should not be admitted.
On balance I have not learned much of any new info that had not already been released many months ago.
Other than his boyfriend turned him into a proper speed bump today.
The texts alone are more than enough to convict, which is why I suspect the defense will angle for a plead deal to mitigate the death penalty if possible.
