There is a need for reform and stronger incentives if FIFA wants to keep the third-place game. The third-place finisher, along with the champion and runner-up, should receive an automatic qualification spot for the 2030 World Cup. Otherwise, FIFA should eliminate the game if it serves no meaningful purpose.

A lot of the online hatred toward Argentina comes from resentment toward its European heritage and success.
