Yep. I counted maybe 2 or 3 actual Swiss on the entire squad.

I kinda agree… certainly FIFA wanted Argentina in the Final 8 and not Egypt. I believe Argentina can beat France; not sure of any other team. But Egypt in the quarters and maybe the semis?! Heaven forbid! Still, there is no denying Argentina performed in the clutch.

I just wish I would’ve seen a fair game. I don’t believe that was a fair game. Argentina may well have won in extra time, but because the the refs, we will never know that.

Every time I watch these games, these Cups, I get disillusioned all over again. I continue to watch, but it’s not with great enthusiasm when I see the different ways different teams are reffed.

It is easier to celebrate the wins when you don’t see the refs make calls they shouldn’t. Calls that go against their own rules.
