Up until this WC, the 1994 US-Hosted World Cup was the most attended World Cup, ever.
Watched some of it on TV... I don’t recall seeing a whole lot of people in the stands... I do recall some Columbian player being killed for scoring on his own team... I believe they may have even killed his whole family back in Colombia.
They take their soccer seriously over there... A little too seriously.
