What I saw was the US team playing the same as before, but not against Paraguay.
Their loss was in skill and thought.
The US team is at a level where they can touch and pass, touch and pass. The Belgian team can touch-pass in sequences, accurately, and their teammates know it and position accordingly.
The Belgians also knew well enough how the US team played to often position themselves right where a pass was going and intercept (we were predictable).
Good job US, better than expected, not as well as hoped, oh well. At least no further whining about Trump and the deferred red card.
Can’t play Australia all the time.
