While true, this is the reason the USA team will never win a World Cup. The attitude has to change if we are to ever really compete strongly.

Defensive. Both teams only had a couple minor chances. Each goalie made a nice save. That wirey Diaz kid for Columbia is fast and all over the field. Watch out for him.

So 7 out of the 8 teams practically border each other.
Norway to England - via the North Sea
England to Belgium and France - via the Eurostar
France borders Spain, Belgium and Switzerland
And Spain and Morocco are only separated by about 30 miles.

Sounds right, no matter which player they signed.
My nephew played grade school and JV HS soccer, and he became the place kicker for the Varsity FB team back home. That was years ago, but yeah, soccer players make great place kickers for American football.
