The biggest human-level sin (in my worldly opinion, not theological) is betrayal of a fellow soldier.

King David did that with Ur the Hitite. Set him up to die so he could bang Delilah.

Literally the lowest of the low.

It’s probably the soldier in me. I think very little of David because of that particular sin.

But God blessed King Jodie (aka David; ask a soldier what I mean if you don’t know) because David was God’s chosen leader and shared His will on important things.

Trump seems to experience similar blessings, despite obvious character flaws.

The rain seems a Matthew 5:45 situation, and I don’t read too much into it.

But it’s plausible. I’m not going to say they’re wrong.
