It’s sobering to think maybe one in a thousand young adults would recognize any of these entertainers, but most of them know minutiae of the Taylor Swift / Travis Kelcy wedding. (PS: The shrimp is Mickey Rooney.)

Male spinner, boyish Andy Hardy charm, or some other endowment? Mickey Rooney got his hands on every starlet in Hollywood. Note he's sidling up to the ever lovely Barbara Eden, who surprisingly can hold a note without embarrassing herself.

Barbara Eden was a competent singer. Saw her sing live at a ballgame back in the mid-90’s, and she sounded great with just a microphone. Still a stunning looking woman at that time, too - decades after ‘I Dream of Jeannie’.

Ah, the good old days, when stars had talent and wore clothes.

Met him in person and shook his hand once. We were on the SS Liberte in 1961. We were both passengers.
