The early reports were all from highly biased sources, so I imagine The Post would do an investigation. Didn’t they get burned on something initially from pro-Ukie sources a little while back? (I could be thinking of some other US’ news org.)
In any event, “hopping” does not necessarily imply a rush to make such an action, nor did I intend such a meaning. (You need to observe some rabbits leisurely moving around a yard, sometimes hopping, as I’ve seen often.) I was merely noting that The Post had picked up on the story. Many major Euro news sources did so about the same time as The Post. If I’d intended to convey alacrity, I’d have said “they hopped right on it.” or “they hopped on that, quickly.”
Now, if you have a useful comment to make on the story itself, please proceed.
In the second paragraph of the article, the NY Post article actually links to:
Biological Terrorism: russians Creating Conditions for the Spread of Anthrax in Kherson region Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, 24 June 2026The DIU report is the only source for their report, and as such is two weeks behind the news cycle. Please note the three other links with which I commented in # 64 are from one day before, coming from United24, Kyiv Post and RBC Ukraine.
I have not found "early reports" other than these which you assert to be highly biased sources. The NY Post has not to date investigated and reported further, as best I can find.
What were the early "highly biased reports" you mentioned?
