It’s an understandable mistake to call Star Wars “science fiction.” There’s no real science in it. It’s more mystical. It’s really a fantasy adventure set in space with futuristic trappings.

Okay, but Science Fiction is the term we use. Plenty of it doesn't have science in it. Some authors prefer the term speculative fiction to science fiction.

I don't think Star Wars and Star Trek are more appropriately lumped in with Lord of the Rings, then stuff based on Azimov and Heinlein.
