She was forbidden to drive, but when she was 80, my aunt secretly taught her to drive, and took her to get her license. She was 84 when Dad died, and the day after the funeral my sister and I bought her a car. She was so proud of that car. The farthest she drove was about 10 miles to work.
My Grandma didn’t drive either. That little go-cart was her pride and joy.
