Man how times have changed . I played in the HS band/orchestra in HS in 1968 as a sophomore . We went from Willimantic CT to Westbrook ME one time for an exchange concert . There was one black member . He didn’t go because he and/or his family thought that ME was a very racist place ! Blacks back then would almost never fight with / attack white folks ANYWHERE . Now we’re getting murdered for doing NOTHING .
