I always thought the state/law enforcement/whatever had to prove you guilty rather than you proving your innocence. Guess that’s one of the problems with a traffic camera. I’ve heard about this problem too many times now. Happened to a friend of mine. He was home in Nebr. & a traffic camera in Washington supposedly caught him in a violation. That’s REALLY screwed up, but he finally came out of it.

It’s a bigger problem in Texas, which simply has flat printed license plates, black letters.

You can just find your car and print a plate that matches and burn through tolls all day long.

I found this out when my fleet vehicles (white pickups) were getting toll fees in Dallas while sitting in Stanton Texas. We had GPS to prove it. Someone had driven by the yard and just copied down the plate numbers.
