I live in City of Los Angeles. I voted for Pratt. I thought that he had a good chance to be in the runoff in November. I turned out to be wrong.
There are many Hispanic voters in City of Los Angeles...My opinion is that many of them did not vote for Pratt...Pratt needed their votes...

Ms. Nithya Raman called him a "MAGA" Republican in some debate...A Youtube ad described him as a mean Republican who has no compassion for homeless people. I think many voters stopped paying attention to Pratt once they found out that he is a Republican...
Rick Caruso almost beat Karen Bass in last election...He changed his party registration from Republican to Democrat...He also stated that he is pro-choice. He also had more money to spend than Mr. Pratt.
