Platner, like Fetterman and Talarico, are candidates for people who are sick to death of the whole structure and would just as soon see it torn down - and there are a lot of them.
Fetterman had an easy path beating Dr. Oz. I know nothing about Texas, so it’s hard to predict the Talarico race.
But Maine is full of voters like the ones I described above, and Susan Collins is the last New England Republican standing - and she looks like she would never make it through another term.
Platner, as I said, is a done deal.
I will take that bet....Maine is not Massachusetts or Vermont. Maine went “cackles” by less than 7 points in ‘24. This guy is a disaster and Collins always over performs her poll numbers (go back and look at 2020 polls). We want this guy to stay in until November.
