I do not know if I want to use my cycles to move power from and to the grid. Agreed. But, I do like the backup power option for the house.

I have a 16kw natural gas powered generator. A Tesla has maximum 100kwh. So fully charged it replaces the generator for 6 hours. After hurricane Sandy we ran the generator for 3 days and saved the food from the neighbor’s freezers.
