Your analogy won’t hold up over time.
Iran isn’t going to be invading & conquering neighboring countries anytime soon. Which leaves their sponsorship of terrorism & attempts at getting nuclear weapons as the primary problems for people ‘worried’ about the “Iran problem.”
My position: Is all Great Power Nations should do their best to not stir up the hornets that live in that region.
This will require a change in our current foreign policy.
