I don’t see how one can receive a pardon from a crime they haven’t been charged with. No trial, no verdict, so how does that work.??

letting this stand lets Trump protect good people at the end of his term. They did Trump a favor

The auto pen will be challenged.

There is precedence. Ford pardoned Nixon for federal crimes Nixon *might* have committed.

Same goes for Carter’s pardon of all draft dodgers in 1977. The pardon even covered those who weren’t actually charged.

Scotus dismissed trumps doj case against the autopen pardons, and scotus let Nixon’s pardon fly uncontested.

Pretty much those pardons arent going to be touched. Which gives presedent when the left goes after Trump for the same thing(probably wont mean much but something is better then nothing.)
