Not post 2 but this. Can they not work out something with the actual Lebanese for the interim? What they’re doing now leaves the impression they’re wanting a fight — and hiding behind past history is a tactic of the left (who, if they were paying attention since Carter if not before, are not their buddies)
Doesn’t Lebanon have the balls to kick Hezbollah out of their country? Then Israel has no reason to bomb there. So long as Lebanon provides a place to launch endless missiles at Israel, Israel is going to defend itself. And if that defense means going proactive to eliminate Hezbollah at the source (Lebanon), then unfortunately some of Lebanon will be damaged.
