It’s hard to imagine where things will be even twenty yearrs from now.
There’ll be a lot of benefits, but I also imagine a bit of social upheaval when things move this fast.
Rick Beato who covers music at his Youtube channel said that AI will change music as it will enable anyone to make music without a studio just like audio cards and other electronics for computers caused recording studios to disappear.
He says that new AI software can run on pc’s and does not need a data center to do what most people want.
I guess it is like a big expensive tv screen while most watch video shows on a cell phone or a DSLR camera that can take great photos but most people prefer the convenience of a cell phone camera which by the way the photos will improve thanks to AI. For many links just google: ai sharpen photo
I read that over 50% of proposed data centers have been cancelled so far.
