The fact that Trump lost the 2020 election doesn’t mean the cause of that loss was China releasing the COVID virus. That would be an act of biological warfare.
Biological warfare is a very risky proposition mainly because of blowback, ie, the infection can hurt you more than it hurts the enemy. It usually is an act of desperation.
It’s generally considered that a vaccine to protect your own is a prerequisite for releasing a biological agent. It China had a vaccine, they wouldn’t have lost a couple of million lives.
And there is the fact that releasing a biological agent is an act of war and the retaliation can make it not worthwhile.
An accidental release is far more likely
