Actually, I don’t feel the need to listen to or read from a so called “AI” source. I’m old school.
Good for you! Believe it or not I am with you. Currently, I have just about every piece of electronics that I have ever purchased since I was in my early teens and a bunch of other stuff that I have collected over the years including a 1955 Zenith R Chassis Black & White TV set that is the centerpiece of our living room along with our 1919 Edison cylinder player phonograph. And I love my collection of vintage computer gear from the first “Home Computers” to the first PC that I put together from scratch with its little amber monitor and two 5.25” floppies and no hard drive that I used with Word Perfect and Lotus 123.
Of course, trying to ignore sources of media that were created with the help of AI is getting pretty hard these days. Even when my wife went to the dentist the day before yesterday, they had an AI program helping the dentists to plan the best course of action. It is just plain hard to get away from. Even my little collection of DJI drones have AI working with their collision avoidance system as they follow you around taking video whether you are walking, riding your bike, skiing or whatever else you want to capture to show off to your pals or kids.
But I tend to stubbornly try to stick to my principles as well... like giving up white sugar, salty and greasy snacks. No way that is going to happen any time soon no matter how much my wife nags me. And the delicious Barbecued ribs and chicken we made yesterday in our smoker, they are going to have to pry one of those pork ribs out of my cold dead sticky BBQ sauce stained clenched fingers!
So I don’t blame you!
