1988-he was one of the 7 democrat dwarfs running for POTUS. What separated him from the rest was 2 things: a conservative foreign policy and he stood up to Jesse Jackson. Gore was young and handsome back then. Man what a phony he turned out to be. John Edwards went down the same road but these phonies won’t let anything stop them like a love child or a dying wife. Sick.

I remember that. His wife spoke out against graphic lyrics in songs IIRC.

I've learned as long as a D is after their name they're not to be trusted.

Al Gore held a pro-life stance during his early years in Congress (representing Tennessee from 1977 to 1984). By the time he ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988, he had changed his position and adopted a pro-choice stance.

John Edwards has the most prosperous personal injury law firm in NC now. Turned me down because his firm doesn’t sue the particular hospital that I wanted to hold accountable.
