“today is the Puerto Rican day parade”
There was a Philipino celebration in my city yesterday and today with several thousand in attendance.
Because there are two naval installations in my county they have a very large community here.
Not one report of violence.....just food, dancing and music.
Put that many of a certain ethnicity together and see what happens.
You can pretty much set your watch by what they no doubt will do anytime a large group of them are in the same place.
Either stabbings, shootings, a chimp out or a combination of all three.
25 years ago there was an uproar over the Seinfeld episode about the craziness and mayhem of the Puerto Rican day parade in NYChitty...of course the usual allegations of racism were thrown around....
Six weeks after that was the infamous PR Day parade in NYChitty with all the craziness, mayhem and wilding incidents....it was poetic justice...
