Now more than ever, they disrespect and underestimate the law and the police while typically overestimating their own ability to outrun and outsmart cops who have a keen technological edge on perps with nothing going for them but a wild and desperate crazy scheme to escape defeat.

They think they're slick enough to pull it off but when the K-9 hellhounds are on their trail, they go running around like disoriented juvenile gnu or wildebeest being pursued by a big cat of some kind, possibly in training mode.

When they're eventually taken down and all out of breath, they make some noise in their final throes as the rest of the herd seems to also protest the process from what it perceives to be a safe distance. When the herd, minus one or more, senses that the party is over, it just moves on to the next one and BAMN!, it happens all over again, however predictably! /S
