She's traveled to UFC fights all over the world, but there hasn't ever been a night quite like Sunday as octagon girl Red Dela Cruz prepares to star at the White House.
The Filipina revealed the late A-lister she would love to see cage-side, and exactly what she would tell Donald Trump, when the Daily Mail snatched a moment with her as she jetted from Las Vegas to Washington DC on Thursday.
Dela Cruz, 33, will strut the Octagon at UFC Freedom 250, the historic fight night on the South Lawn, which falls on Trump's 80th birthday and marks America's 250th.
The fight is expected to draw everyone from cabinet secretaries to A-listers, but asked who would leave her starstruck, Dela Cruz gives an intriguing answer.
'I've met a lot of amazing people through the UFC, so I don't get starstruck too often anymore. But if we're talking about anyone, it would have been Michael Jackson. I grew up listening to his music, and seeing him Octagon-side at an event like this would have been unreal,' Dela Cruz said.
One superstar who will be there is Trump himself. The event is the grand culmination of his 25-year friendship with Dana White, which began when Trump hosted White's first card as UFC boss at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City in 2001.
Dela Cruz said if she got a chance to speak to Trump she would 'thank him for supporting an event like this and giving the UFC the opportunity to be part of such a historic occasion.'
'Then I'd probably ask for a photo to remember the moment,' she added.
The landmark event is unique even for Dela Cruz, the UFC's award-winning first Filipina octagon girl, who has worked everywhere from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi to Sydney, Australia.

Perfect.👍
“I believe Jackson’s accusers and their families, whose testimonies were given in the trials/suits against him.“
Parents who allowed their small children to actually live with Jackson for extended periods of time while the parents weren’t there. Another factor on the side of reasonable doubt for me….
So what is her shocking wish???
“Parents who allowed their small children to actually live with Jackson for extended periods of time while the parents weren’t there. Another factor on the side of reasonable doubt for me…”
Yes, the parents did not handle the situation right to start with, but their error makes no excuse for Jackson.
Those parents were merely very enamored, stupidly, with Jackson’s great celebrity and ignorant of who Jackson was, morally. They were also families with little means and thought too little, questioned too little, about why this celebrity was showering their child with so many gifts, and why such an older person wanted their child to stay, alone, over nite with Jackson. And kids don’t talk right away because they see themselves as “guilty” which is what shame does to an innocent child.
Really, I would be willing to contribute to hiring a MJ impersonator to show up at ringside just to help her dream
come true...
I guess it wouldnt be as exciting if it was just a plain blonde haired - blue eyed American girl in the attention spotlight...
Once again the American masses choose to patronize foreigners...
Do you need a tissue to cry into?
