That’s a good point. But it assumes that the mullahs are rational. They are not. Job #1 for them is kill the infidel. Worry about building the island back up later.
That is an interesting proposition.
1. We blow Kharg Island to hell.
2. We tell them we are taking Kharg Island and IRGC blows it to hell.
