I read the entire quote and transcript for context. Its as bad as it sounds.

I think he is saying, the inflation is a symptom of the fact that we are taking out Iranian oil tankers, which was a hard necessity to keep them from becoming a nuclear power.

So, he loves it. Because it’s a necessary consequence of keeping us and the world a much safer place.
