All the would be black jury members kept saying dumb shit like “we can’t sent a black boy to prison for life”. So they were not put on a jury.

Defense had to question and approve the jurors too. They did bring up a Batson challenge objection, which would have required a racially diverse panel, but Judge Roach ruled against it. I bet the defense will appeal based on the make-up of the jury.
