This “4.0 student” had nobody but his mother to plead for leniency.
That speaks volumes.
Great point!! I take it the little bastard didn’t take the stand in his own defense. I wonder when it comes to his sentencing hearing, who will stand up and beg for mercy then.
He could have spoken himself, apologizing to the family and expressing deep sympathy and sorrow for his crime, and begging the jury to give him mercy.
We’ll know soon, and I hope they give him life.
