Collins initially supported the SAVE America Act in February. But when Sen. Graham tried to get the measure passed by using an amendment to bundle it into a budget reconciliation/immigration funding package, she voted against it. The issue was that it was reportedly combined with other controversial elements in the broader package.
If Collins maintains her support for the bill, the remaining holdouts include Sens. Murkowski, Tillis, and McConnell.

Collins said she was on board a week or two ago. I don’t think this is new news. The question remains is she for ending the filibuster rule?
In her defense she knows how left wing the people of ME are, and she tries to accommodate them. She does come through about a tenth of the time.
Collins may not be exactly MAGA, but usually votes right when it matters.
In liberal Maine, she just cannot vote Maga all the time!
Just imagine, how would Plattner voted in this situation!
**So Collins suddenly pretending to be a conservative isn’t the smartest thing for her re-election chances.**
She voted for Kavanaugh for SCOTUS in her last election. That was a profile in courage. So will this one should it pass. She’s more than come through for us.
Thune is hiding behind the rat parliamentarian so he won’t use reconciliation
Even if we don’t have the 60 votes, place the bill before the Senate for a roll call vote so that every senator is on the record for where they stand. Indeed, the Save America Act should be openly debated on the senate floor even if we do not have the votes to pass the legislation.
Maybe she just realized that the Slave Party would happily do to her as they are doing to Spencer Pratt.
“Collins is a moron. What is her problem with protecting the borders?”

On an absolute basis, I agree.
BUT, this is Maine, a barely purple state. On a relative basis, she may be the best we can do, IN MAINE. She is significantly better than any Democrat up there (ie, Platner).
As an NC native, we have no excuse for Tillis. Thank God he’s leaving.
McConnell is holding out on pure spite. Thank God he’s leaving.
Murkowski got in because of that stupid ranked choice voting.
Most likely yes.
She is no longer worried about loosing her Senate seat.
And all 3 only because they hate Trump and MAGA. They're putting their personal vindictiveness before the welfare of the American people. I hope Tillis and Murky get destroyed in the next election and McTurtle hurries to his dirt nap.
She wants major GOP support in her primary.
Turdkowski again stabs America and Alaska in the back.
**She wants major GOP support in her primary.**
She’s got it.
**BUT, this is Maine, a barely purple state. On a relative basis, she may be the best we can do, IN MAINE.**
Let’s pray she lives to be 100.
Oh you’re pissed. She’s saying yes? It’s very strange for a person who’s on this site. And yes, I want her to win in November. I want her to win by nine points at least
No, I find her to be a nut. She plays the Senate policy game.
Who cares if it’s attached to a spending bill?
She wants the Save America Act to fail to get 60 votes if done her and the Rinos way.
I don’t care if she wins.
a Senate that won’t even vote to protect American elections from being taken over by foreigners......is a (very bad) joke
.
That’s because we need 55 senators, not 53.
I hope to God she wins. If she doesn’t, most likely, we lose the Senate now you don’t care I know. But, the main reason I want the Senate in our hands is the committees. The last thing Trump needs is to be investigated on every little thing and he will be. It would be so awful day after day of investigations way worse than first term or even the middle four years.
“I hope to God she wins”
She’d better be recruiting the best comms person on God’s Green Earth! It’s gonna be a fight.
