I apologize. I misstated what I meant to say. I was attempting to say they haven't engaged in nuclear WEAPONS research since 2008. Obviously they engaged in nuclear research. The JPCOA that I mentioned in my post was an agreement on that nuclear research.

Why haven't they used them to hit us or anyone outside of their middle east neighbors?
