{quote}Steve Kroft warned that the iconic newsmagazine “no longer exists” in the form viewers have known for decades.{endquote}
OH, you mean the like in the form of the bogus Audi 5000 “unintended acceleration” accusations of the 80’s, or the GM full-sized pickups catching fire when impacted story of the 90’s?

Both accusations were “substantiated” by off-screen and unrevealed assists - high pressure air to the transmission of the Audis, and fire ignition devices in the case of the pickup trucks.

YES, “60 Minutes” has been totally reliable for ‘decades’. /s

Reliably dishonest.

Reliably communist.

Reliably anti-American.

The only time I've watched 60 minutes during the last 40 years is I if fell asleep watching the NFL and had to change the channel when I woke up...

“or the GM full-sized pickups catching fire when impacted story of the 90’s?”

That was NBC. The other 60 Minutes fraud was the Bush NG memos. They’ve all done it one time or another. ABC sent saboteurs into a Food Lion store to get the employees to create health code violations but the mployees wouldn’t do it. CNN was the Operation Tailwind lie where the US supposedly used Sarin gas against US defectors in Laos.
