Olivia Plath Reveals She Had 2 Abortions, 'Never Regretted' Her Decision

Olivia Plath is speaking out about women's reproductive healthcare choices.

The Welcome to Plathville star, 28, shared in a recent Instagram video that she has had two abortions using mifepristone, amid debates over nationwide access to the drug. Mifepristone, according to the Mayo Clinic, is used with misoprostol to terminate pregnancies.

"This is probably also a good time to mention something that I've not talked about a lot publicly, but I've actually had two abortions, and for each of those I took mifepristone,” Olivia said in the May 21 video.

The wedding photographer acknowledged that past generations didn’t have access to the same female reproductive healthcare options that she did.

"My mom didn't have the support I have to decide whether or not she wanted to be a parent or to have any kids. She was from a different generation and she lived in a pretty religious, controlling world. I knew from the time I was a child that my mom had more kids than she wanted or felt that she was able to take care of. And it showed,” Olivia said.

“I’m really thankful for therapy now, and I always told myself I was never going to repeat that life. I'm so thankful that I had the options that she didn't,” she said, adding that “every woman deserves that.”

“Having an abortion is a decision I've never regretted, truly. I knew I was not ready to be a parent. I never should have kids with that person. Every woman deserves that support and that autonomy over her own body,” Olivia said.

She ended her message by encouraging her followers to attend My Body My Festival in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, May 28. The event is a music festival that donates its proceeds to the DC Abortion Fund.

She may not now because she was to be accepted as a progressive, in-control woman, but she will.

liar, she hopes if she keeps saying it, she will eventually start believing it.

The fact is the main reason nearly all liberal women see a psychiatrist is because of the intense guilt they feel for murdering their babies.

Olivia Plath, divorced and in therapy, says she never regretted her decision.

Maybe she’ll eventually work her way out of the darkness, but she could spiral the other way.

The primary result of the sexual revolution was to persuade many young women to make themselves sexually available to the skirt chasing men, with the abortion license as a final safety point. While the responsible, commitment, marriage and family oriented young men are treated as chumps and losers. The women especially turn to alcohol, drugs and therapy trying to figure out what has gone wrong.

As it is working out, making children disposable turns out to make partners interchangeable and disposable, and ultimately this reflects young women who have been trained not to value themselves highly. If they consent to being treated as toys, they will be treated as disposable toys.

And then they’ll get older .... Well, their cats will still like them.

She sounds like someone trying to convince herself of something.

Agreed.

And, if I may add, it's part of a larger problem of not understanding the distinction between spiritual conviction and condemnation. Because the libs don't know repentance, they think the best way to handle condemnation is to pretend that their wrong was never wrong to begin with.

But better peace comes through conviction, vowing to never do it again (repentance) and accepting God's grace from condemnation. Even if we can't keep our vow of forever being sin free (nobody but Jesus can), it's liberating to have faith in Jesus and God's accept God's forgiveness, including being real enough in the faith to live it like we mean it. It's very similar to the "24 hour rule" of football after losing a game. You beat yourself up for a day for missing your blocking assignments or doing poor tackling, etc, then wake up the next day with the mindset of a champion and preparing for next week's game.

Because the libs diss God they have to try to satisfy the condemnation in other ways, and fail to do so.

In the first sentence, the language use tells you the writer is brainwashed.

What do you call a person who can butcher her own flesh and blood conscience-free? A sociopath!

but she could spiral the other way.

The more famous Plath, Sylvia, sure did. I had to read "The Bell Jar" in high school. The whole book was self-indulgent steam-of consciousness garble. I am not sure why it became famous. The poor woman was likely mentally ill, but I did not find her to be brilliant.

If she has no regrets, why does she need therapy?

Very good post as so concise. Allow me to complete it.

At that point, isolated and feeling alone (as they will be) it is easier to manipulate them emotionally to political ends.

This was the intent back in 1910, in the days when Benjamin Kidd first published the essence of this plan in his book, "The Science of Power" with his emphasis upon manipulation of women and children as means of demographic and therefore democratic control.

Too many women see it as just a normal part of being sexually liberated.

They equate it with now having proof they are sexual beings and won’t be tied down.

It gives them “street cred.”

Americans are ok with limits on abortion, like 6 weeks into a pregnancy. We have to live with that. RU-486 has a 97% effective rate up to 9 weeks in a pregnancy.

We’re gonna have to live with this reality. SCOTUS gave the issue back to the states where it belongs making it a non-issue. Democrats cannot run with it anymore. Like our ‘24 WH victory we move forward. Let the lefties read Jill Biden’s book(or Kamala’s).

her mother didn’t have access to 100 different ways NOT to get pregnant, either. 2 abortions already, at her age? she needs birth conctrol counseling. abortion is a shocking way to prevent unwanted pregnancy - but this kind of blase attitude is all too prevalent.
