California does a random draw of letter order. This dictates the order names are on the ballot. I looked at the letters a couple of weeks ago. Only thing I remember is Q came up first, S must of been 2nd. But it is not alpha after that, the order of the draw determines the second letter, if there are more than one name starting with S.
Thnx, I knew it was some weird screwy methodology. Do you know if it’s just 26 letters each time they draw or are there multiples of some of the letters based on name distribution?
I assume they had to go to the 2nd or third letter draws for Swallow to have beaten out the other S’s that were running.
It’s still absolutely classic that the lottery winner of 100+ names and one of the most known names going into the race is the dude that was too perverted for even CA Dems to stomach.
