I regret that I am thick headed. I don’t get the significance of RIF and the connection with bagster’s claim and the subsequent “beats” Q drop.

I hope somebody remembers better than I do.
But from what I recall Reasonisfaith was trolling the Q thread, got into a back-and-forth with Bagster. I’m not sure exactly how the lifting 188 got in there. Then came Q drop #1,006, with its 188 !s and count your beats, proving that Q read the Q threads.
Bagster finally got through to Reasonisfaith and RIF came over to the Q side sorta, or a least stopped trolling.
Bagster was bagging on him, pun intended. Started asking him ‘if he even lifted’, Was a great troll spiral. 188 was all over the place then Q posted 188 exclamation points as I recall.
Searching for the back-and-forth between Bagster and RIF and found this from Bagster:

The legend of the 188%
There was a man, the elders say, and he was called Reasonisfaith. He was a mighty man and seasoned. He could bench press 188% of his own body weight, or so the legend is told.
He spoke in humble tones of his state weight lifting championships and regaled his fellows with tales of his strength and derring do. He also spake often of his virility and ability to “score chicks.”
Some say he is gone from us. And some say he lives on, if only in the minds of our children and that he always will.
Like Jeremiah Johnson.
