But he’s dangerous.
I recall the day I told my co-workers that Gates is the anti-Christ. (I actually did.) It was the day we were forced to give up WordPerfect for that damn MS Word. Gates bundled MS Office free with the purchase of new Windows PCs.
But messing with the health of citizens... there are no words!
I had a love-hate relationship with Word for DOS. It only supported a small list of canned fonts. I hacked it at the assembly level to support more. I wrote a DOS TSR that Word would call twice: once on startup to ask for a list of supported soft fonts and later to tell it to send the ones it needed to the printer at print time. It made me my dad’s hero overnight.

Gates was just warming up to play his version of god... by then “forcing” anyone that keeps Windows on their pc (instead of switching to Linux) to receive “updates” every damn month, whether they want or need it or not. Updates that very often ended up screwing up some other program or app that the user had installed (speaking from personal experiences many times over the years).
I believe the concept of ‘forcing’ is now fully in Gates nature. He is forcing the people to deal with whatever evil he is wreaking upon them. My question is... why is he not being stopped?
