I had a case where a casino worker was going through a divorce with his wife who was having adulterous relationships. They were arguing over custody of three children as well as child support. When I saw the children and compared them to the features of my client, I asked him are they adopted ( perhaps something I missed in my records). He said “No, why?” I said, “from what I see all of them appear to be black. Your soon to be ex-wife is trying to get child support from you rather than the biological fathers.” In court, the Judge agreed. Of course the Judge shot down any attempt at sanctioning the mother. My client wasn’t too smart. As an aside, he had a regulation craps table in his garage where he practiced throwing dice in an attempt of gaming Craps at the casinos.
