The surname Vang is primarily associated with Hmong nationality and ethnicity. The Hmong are an indigenous, stateless group originating from mountainous regions in China, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand.

Hmong tribesmen were strong supporters of US efforts against the NVA during the war. They worked with MACV-SOG in particular to interdict and observe NVA movements throughout the HoChiMinh trail. I’d surmise MS Vang was born here and steeped in anti-Americanism in Kalifornia schools.

The Hmong are to Asia what Somalis are to Africa - the worst dregs of the continent. When they come to America, they spread squalor and crime wherever they go. They're especially keen on trespassing and poaching.

And why should we expect anything different? Hmong were basically jungle cave-dwellers until we imported them.
