Pneumonia itself creeps up on people all the time. They ignore it like it’s just a virus they’re having trouble with.
Happened with my hubby.
And too many people get caught with sepsis likewise, whether it’s from pneumonia or other issues.

One doesn’t catch sepsis. It is a body’s immune system overreacting.
With pneumonia it can be the bacteria getting into the bloodstream.
How does sepsis develop from pneumonia? I normally associate sepsis from some breach within the bowels to the blood stream.
