If these are the reasons women cite (are they, or is this both sides?) then even taking infidelity at the lower end, you could add this up and say 50% of wives are apparently getting cheated on and smacked around. Looks like both cheat at roughly similar rates with men only slightly higher.

Physical abuse is indeed worse among men though the percentage of women who are physically abusive is not small either.
