But it’s not unusual for a family to request complete privacy when the death was caused by a drug overdose.
He was in the simulator on Wednesday and collapsed. Was at the shop before that. NASCAR has a strict drug policy. It’s been less than a day. More likely, they still need to determine exactly what happened and the cause. Satisfying our curiosity should not be at the top of their to do list. There will probably be an announcement forthcoming. No hurry.
