I love that history in NYS. I grew up near Buffalo,and we visited Old Fort Niagara often. When we vacationed in the Adirondacks it was Fort Ticonderoga, Lake George, Lake Champlain, etc.

They were quite a group of soldiers- did z lot of raiding all a4ound and up int9 canada too, and were instrumental in the war. I know the areas well. Did loads of hiking, fishing, hunting, trapping etc in the area, so it made the account closer to home for me. Fort ticondaroga has some great history too.
