Some people see Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Seth, Noah, Enoch... as their “heritage”.
Some see Goldilocks & the 3 Bears as their “heritage”.
Is the heritage of a leftist different from the heritage of a right-winger? Is the heritage different for a leftist who converts to being a conservative.
What is “our heritage”?
I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
